You will receive a notification in real-time from CIBC advising once your funds have been received and processed to Carnegie Mellon University. You can track your payment anywhere, anytime by visiting the CIBC International Student Pay secure web portal. Do I need to inform Carnegie Mellon University of my payment?

No. CIBC informs Carnegie Mellon University of all payments. Your CMU student account will be automatically credited.

Do I need a CIBC account to use this payment platform to pay Carnegie Mellon fees?

No, you do not need a CIBC account. You do not need to visit a CIBC banking center. You can pay from your home bank account via CIBC portal and we will process the payment to Carnegie Mellon directly!

Can I pay my tuition to Carnegie Mellon through a Sponsor or Agent / Counsellor?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sponsors or Agents/Counsellors can make payments on behalf of the student via the CIBC student payment portal. The payment will be reflected in the student’s CMU SIO account. Ensure the instruction sheet is delivered to the Sponsor or Agent/Counsellor to make the payment.
