Canada’s AI Moment

Canada’s national AI strategy, entitled “AI for All,” does not think small. While business adoption of AI in Canada currently sits at about 12%, the strategy sets an ambitious goal of boosting that to 60% by 2034. Recently, Ozge Yeloglu, CIBC’s VP of Advanced Analytics and AI, sat down with Jaime Tatis, the bank’s Chief Data and AI Officer, and Glenda Crisp, President and CEO of the Vector Institute, to discuss business AI adoption, the compute gap, and what’s needed to keep tech talent here in Canada.
