FX Files – Quiet Weekend and Central Banks Ahead

The pause in strikes on Iran and the resumption of talks between Iran and Oman over the Strait of Hormuz supported risk assets into the start of the week. Brent oil is now near $89 (down from $99 on Friday), US equity futures point to a positive open in line with the overnight move in global stocks, while both the USD and UST yields are lower this morning.
