Scott Wilson is the Vice Chair, US Capital Markets, at CIBC Capital Markets based in New York City. He is responsible for developing and managing senior client relationships with a focus on the US. Mr. Wilson was Head of US Capital Markets from 2019-2024 where he served on the CIBC US Region Executive Committee and global Capital Markets Management Committee. Other positions held by Mr. Wilson during his career at CIBC include COO of US Private Wealth Management, Head of Capital Markets Europe, CAO for global Wholesale Banking and Head of Legal & Compliance for Asia-Pacific & Europe regions.

Mr. Wilson is a Board member of United Way of New York City and Seacology, a non-profit organization with a mission to protect unique habitats and cultures of islands worldwide. He was previously on the Board of ACCESS Community Capital Fund, a non-profit microlending institution serving the greater Toronto area.

Mr. Wilson holds a JD from UCLA’s School of Law, as well as an MBA issued jointly from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. He also holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley and was a member of the California Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
